As told by Aaron Shepard

Read by Chris Pellegrini

“Van Amsterdam, the baker, is as honest as he can be—but he may have something left to learn.”

A story with a moral, Aaron Shepard’s retelling of this classic tale is a warm, fuzzy one. Fun for the whole family.

Happy Saint Nicholas Day, Merry Christmas, and thank you for listening.

Thanks, guys, that was a nice change of pace. Can I look forward to more? My daughter loved it.

By the way, what’s the music? Sounds a little like early French baroque. Am I right?

Hey Chris, sounds great! I hadn’t heard the story before…I though Van Amsterdam was a sriker at PSV! Nice work.

Ken, everyone knows van Amsterdam was a great international midfielder for. . . wait, no, nevermind.

Steve, there is a kind of French baroque thing going on there, but the tune is an old Irish one - “The Beggar,” as performed by The Baltimore Consort.

And, yes, you can look forward to more if I have anything to say about it, which I do.
