I had to listen to this one again. Very interesting. What amazes me is how little rhetoric has changed through the times.

The Prime Ministers speech is so Bush-esk, its frightening. This is a great gem for anyone looking to make the point that although everything changes with time, most things pretty much stay the same in the world of politics.

Three more to come. Wait till Part 4 when the Japanese take Vancouver.

There's a fifth one, but I haven't yet decided whether to run it or not. We'll see how it goes.

I agree on the rhetoric. When I first listened to it, I thought it was familiar as well. What gets me is how unabashedly they ask for sacrifice in the face of a very real threat. That's one thing that just couldn't be done now. I couldn't imagine a Canadian or American government with that kind of popular credibility.

Hey, don't everybody start hatin' on me, but I gotta say I really hate those Nazis, man. I know it's not cool to hate, but I just wouldn't want my daughter marrying a Nazi and I wouldn't want one in my house. You know what I mean?
