Oh, and Mrs. Idubor is a class act. Even with all the stress she's under, she was a gracious hostess, a fantastic good, an able bartender, and, of course, the person who tied all the threads of her husband's case together for us.

If nothing else, drop in, have a beer, and offer your support. (Again, it is a nice place.) Although, if you do drop in for a beer and don't end up ordering a chicken, you might as well be a vegan because you're clearly missing the point of eating meat.

Yeah, that chicken was fantastic!

I knew I was home when I saw those things roasting out front.

Well, we went down and had a good turnout. We met Mr. Idubor's lawyer, had some productive conversations, played darts, and had a lot of great food and drink. I'm serious, as if one needed another reason to go to Big Ys Cafe, it's a really nice place with whole roasted chickens. Awesome.

We're going again. You should, too.

If you're coming from Tokyo, get the Tokyu-Toyoko (東急東横線) line from Shibuya. At Yokohama Station, it becomes the Minato-Mirai line.

For those who want to go, it is next to the expressway, near both Motomachi-Chukagai Station on the Minato-Mirai line (港みらい線の元町・中華街駅), which is closest, and Ishikawa-cho Station on the Negishi line (根岸線の石川町駅).

From Motomachi-Chukagai Station, go out Exit 3, look for the expressway, go towards it, turn right on the parallel road, go about two blocks, Laport Motomachi will be on your right.

From Ishikawa-cho Station go out the exit on the North side of the expressway/river and follow the opposite directions of those from Motomachi-Chukagai. In other words, go towards the expressway, turn left, go along the parallel road. Laport Motomachi will be on your left. If you hit Motomachi-Chukagai Station, you've gone a bit too far.

If you know how to get to Chukagai (Yokohama Chinatown), you'll be in the right neighborhood. If you want to go, but are worried about being able to find it, please e-mail us, so we can help you out - transpacificradio(at)gmail.com.

I live far, far away, but is there any way I can donate a beer or two? Can I send you guys the money or something? I hope so.

Either way, have a few for me. Then a few more because that's what I'd do.

I'll forward this to people I know who are still living in the Greater Kanto area and tell them to go.
